Call Mnaamodzawin Health Services Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Program or your visiting Community Health Nurse at 368-2182.

A “Partner in Parenting” is an experienced parent who will…
- Answer your questions or concerns about pregnancy and child care.
- Provide information on baby’s development.
- Assist in acquiring new skills.
- Provide extra support and encouragement during difficult times.
- Provide information with other community agencies that will assist when help is required.
What is the Healthy Babies, Healthy Children Program?
- A free program for expectant mothers and parents of children under six (6) years of age.
- Provide parents with information and support about parenting.
- Support parents in giving young children a healthy start in life.
- Assist families find the right support in the community
- Additional staff will provide an opportunity to socialize and share something new with other families while learning.
A Community Health Nurse will...
- Visit your home.
- Give you information and answer your pregnancy and parenting questions.
- Put you in touch with community resources that meet your needs.
- Arrange for a Partner in Parenting to visit you regularly.
