A Partner in Parenting is an experienced parent who will:
- Answer your questions or concerns about pregnancy and child care
- Provide information on baby's development
- Assist in acquiring new skills
- Provide extra support and encouragement during difficulty time
- Provide information with other community agencies that will assist when help is required

A Community Health Nurse and/ or Nurse Practitioner will:
- Visit your home
- Give you information and answer your pregnancy and parenting questions
- Put you in touch with community resources that meets your needs
- Arrange for a Partner in Parenting to visit you regularly
